EcoVac believes that good business starts with good people doing good and giving back, as this drives the fundamentals of success. As an independently-owned business, we have the freedom to support causes we believe in and to impact the world in a positive way. To support this idea, EcoVac selects a charity to donate 1% of profits each year. Through giving back we are able to build a better business by connecting our customer's purchases with non-profit organizations.
How do we donate? Each year, our team at EcoVac selects a charity to support through donations, and if possible volunteerism. For 2020, EcoVac is supporting the Food Recovery Network.
The Food Recovery Network unites students on college campuses to fight food waste and hunger by recovering perishable food that would otherwise go to waste and donating it to people in need. Food Recovery Network is the largest student movement fighting against food waste and hunger and has recovered and donated more than 3 million pounds of food that otherwise would have gone to waste. That's more than 2.5 million meals that have gone to those in need. Please take a moment to learn more about the Food Recovery Network.
